Job Duties:

• Prepare meal ingredients for the cook, which includes washing, cutting, peeling, and slicing ingredients.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• Operate kitchen equipment, such as ovens, grills, and fryers.
• Ensure that all the vegetables and meats are fresh.
• Remove trash and clean and replace garbage bags.
• Store food supplies in refrigerators and other areas.
• Prepare the trays of final dishes ordered by the customers.
• Check the inventory levels and report to the Kitchen Manager.
• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
• Follow food safety standards. 

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Experience is an asset, on the job training will be provided.
