We have identified the need for a full-time Dental Laboratory Assistant with at least 3 to less than 5 years experience to join us.
We offer $26.00 hourly for a full-time position, including employer extended medical benefits.
The ideal candidate should have the following:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
3 to less than 5 years
Maintain and order supplies
Perform administrative functions for the dental laboratory
Orthodontic appliances
Crowns and bridges
Ceramic or porcelain application
Waxing-up
Polishing
Plastering
Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays
Prepare plaster models and moulds
Polish and buff dentures
Make orthodontic bands from metal and alloys
Fast-paced environment; Work under pressure; Repetitive tasks; Physically demanding; Manual dexterity; Attention to detail; Hand-eye co-ordination; Ability to distinguish between colours; Sitting; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Tight deadlines;
