Job Description

We are looking for a multi talented person for the job profile of “Information systems analysts and consultants (NOC 2171)”.   

The position will be based at Eternity Transport LTD, 26103 30A Ave, Langley, BC – V4W 2X6 

Position: Information systems analysts and consultants (NOC 2171) 

Job Duties.  

Candidate will be able to work independently but also partner with other operations teams. We expect candidate should have below skills to fit for this opening. 

• Candidate should be a great team player as he will sit with all internal staff and consult their IT needs.
• Candidate will check how he can increase the efficiency and overall quality of existing IT setup.
• Make sure that all systemssoftware’s are working fine.
• Candidate should be good in coding, if needed he can develop tools as per business requirement.
• Candidate will regularly advise business stake holders on latest technologiestools available in market, and best fit for our trucking business.
• Candidate should be good in POC (Proof of Concept) and can test efficiency, quality of new IT software/tools.
• Create and maintain documentation on installation of new IT tool/software, and diagrams.

• Candidate should be good in writing policies on security breaches, contingency plans in case of DR or server crashes.
• Candidate will regularly conduct business and technical studies on existing platform related to work load, and new hardware requirement as per business growth.

What are the requirements needed for this position?  

• Experience: Minimum 3 Years.  
• Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or have similar experience. Experience in computer programming would be an asset.
• Language: English 

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?  

• Self starter, able to work independently without supervision. 
• Team Player 
• Ability to coach and train.  

Salary/Compensation & Benefits.

• The base salary for requested position is $38.50/per hour, 40 Hours/week
• Vacation pays of 4% on each schedule pay cheque.
