Job Description
Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
Explain repairs to customers, general condition and provide estimates for unanticipated repairs.
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues like brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors, cooling and climate control, emission control and exhaust using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment.
Communicate with the supervisor on a regular basis about work performed, necessary changes, new parts needed, or any other concerns related to repair or maintenance work.
Follow all safety requirements and local and federal standards when it comes to disposing of toxic materials.
Assist customers who need repairs by ordering parts, diagnosing problems, performing vehicle operations tests and installing new components.
Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required.
Post-secondary education and/ or minimum one-year experience in the field.
