- Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction; Perform miscellaneous labouring activities to help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed; Load, unload and transport construction materials; Direct traffic at or near construction sites; Assist heavy equipment operators; Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction; Clean and pile salvaged materials; Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants; Read and interpret blueprints; Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
