Job Description

Planet India Restautant is looking for 4 full-time Meat Cutters with them. 

Position:  Meat Cutter 

Wage & Hours: $18.00/hr & minimum 30 hr/week

Job duties:

• Cutting, deboning, trimming, grinding, weighing and packaging meat and seafood products to specification or customers’ requirements.  
• Sharpen and adjust knives and cutting equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery.
• Weigh, wrap, and display meat or meat products.
• Store meats in refrigerators or freezers at the required temperature.
• Clean equipment and work areas to maintain health and sanitation standards.
• Keeping inventory of meat sales, ordering meat supplies to maintain appropriate stock levels.

Employment requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is an asset.
• On-the-job training will be provided.

• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Efficient and organized, able to juggle multiple tasks.
• Energetic, high level of initiative.
• Detail-oriented.
