Job duties:
-Always check equipment for issues and ensure machine guards are in place prior tostartup
-Check tool rests for proper setting as prescribed
-Dust collector must be on & periodically emptied
-Inspect all castings for visual defects prior to finishing
-Scrap or weld castings to be kept separate with ductile separate from gray. Tag allboxes.
-Grind both good and weld castings as trained
-Place good castings in appropriate containers
-Cover good castings with a piece of cardboard to keep out dust or moisture
-Record scrap, weld, and good castings counts on production sheets
-Transport finished castings to appropriate area for further processing
Terms of employment: Permanent Full Time (40 hours/week)
