Permanent Full Time Child Caregiver - Private Home wanted for Chebas’ residence at the Cranarch Circle SE Community in Calgary Alberta.   Wage rate is $21.00 per hour and works 40-44 hours per week.  Benefit includes 10-day vacation leave per year.  Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis but please note that this is NOT a condition of employment.

JOB DUTIES:

• Supervise and care for twin children in the employer's private residence and may reside in employer's home but this is not a condition of employment
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Tend to emotional well-being of the children
• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
• Shop for food and household supplies
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Organize activities such as games and outings for the children.

Essential Skills and Personal Suitability: Flexibility, Initiative, Judgement, Organized, Reliability, Team Player, Time Management, Patience, Honesty.

Education: Completion of high school

Work experience: Previous related work experiences serve as an asset but certainly not required as employer will provide training.
