Job Description
Maenam is located in the heart of Kitsilano area. We are currently looking for a permanent and full-time Administrator / Office Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate and implement new procedures
- Establish work schedules, procedures and priorities and co-ordinate activities of employees
- Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
- Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports to the business owner
- Coordinate and plan for office services, such as accommodation, relocations, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
- Carry out administrative activities associated with admissions to post-secondary educational institutions
- Conduct analyses and oversee administrative operations related to budgeting, contracting and project planning and management processes
- Assist in preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
- Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
Education, skills and experience required:
- A university degree or college diploma in business or public administration or similar field
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Some experience in a senior clerical position related to office administration
Language: Oral and Written Communication skills in English
Compensation:
$37.75 / hour, Sunlife medical plan (after 1-year continuous full-time work), 4% Vacation Pay
