Job Description

Pacific Crown Wood Finishing has several years of experience in the wood finishing industry providing a large range of quality wood finishing services for our clients which includes finishing of cabinet doors, railings and entry doors. We are specialized in paint, glazed, stain, clear lacquer & custom finishing. We are currently hiring 2 full-time “Painters” for our growing team.

Job Type: Full time; Permanent

Salary: $26.45 per hour

Number of Positions: 2

Expected start date: As soon as possible

Work location: Unit 119 – 13045, 84 Avenue, Surrey, BC – V3W 1B3

Job Duties:

• Read instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work and material necessary.
• Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders as necessary in a manner consistent with safety codes.
• Advise customers on colors schemes and choice of wall coverings.
• Measure, cut and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
• Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted.
• Mix paint to desired color and texture.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of high School
• Completion of apprenticeship program or Minimum 3 years of work experience in the relevant trade
• English communication skills required
