Job Description

“Link Insurance Services Ltd” is hiring for one Bookkeeper to join their company. We are based at 15250 Hwy 10 Suite 100, Surrey, BC- V3S 5K7. The position is available on full-time basis.

Requirements:

  • Completion of high school education is required. Completion of a college program in bookkeeping, accounting or related field would be an asset.
  • 2-3 years of experience in related field is required.
  • Knowledge of English Language.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Word, excel etc.

Wages: $25.00/hr. for 40 hrs./week +4% Vacation pay.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Organize and record invoices.
  • Keep financials records.
  • Establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Post journal entries and reconcile accounts
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements
  • Co-ordinate with the company’s accountant and provide them with the required financial paperwork
  • Prepare financial and accounting reports
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls.
  • Prepare and manage tax returns.
  • Full cycle bookkeeping including accounts receivable and payable.
