Job Description

Atlantic Gateway Network Inc is looking for two talented Website Editors who can help us achieve success in building high-traffic websites.

Job Details:
Job Title: Website Editor
Positions Available: 2
Business and Work Location: Halifax Region, NS, Canada
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Permanent, Full-time
Salary: $28-32 per hour (to be negotiated) depending on experience

The Web Site Editors will:

1. Create, write, and edit web pages incorporating keywords and phases
2. Post daily comments, images and respond to posted comments
3. Develop and lead content strategy to build audience and increase engagement across site and newsletters
4. Take a point role gathering, verifying and confirming news
5. Proactively research and analyze information on news section and regularly develop knowledge
6. Oversee layout and check content for accuracy and errors
7. Demonstrate initiative to improve and supplement different sections of the web sites in alignment with targeted audience
8. Collect and analyze feedback and make changes in contents and style if necessary
9. Work with marketing staff to prepare promotional materials for both company and clients
10. Meet deadlines and budget requirements
11. Maintain and organize relevant documents
12. Execute other tasks as required

Employment requirement:

1. Language: English and Chinese
2. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
3. Chinese language reading and writing is required
4. Related work experience, SEO writing experience and knowledge of photography, video experience is great asset
5. Experience in online media and social media account management is an asset
