Salary: $53.85 Hourly, for 40.00 Hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: 187 James St South, Hamilton Ontario (L8P 3A8).
Education: A bachelor's degree in engineering is required
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience is required
Languages: Full proficiency in English mandatory, proficiency in French, Spanish, Chinese and
Portuguese is an asset.
Duties:
• Plan, organize, direct, control and coordinate the engineering aspects for a multi disciplined
engineering team that will include other engineering and design staff from TOA as well as all
other subcontracted engineering teams.
• Develop effective planning of all engineering and project management aspects including the
development of work breakdown structures for complex and multi disciplined programs as well
as detailed and integrated scheduling.
• Review of and authentication of the various process designs and other design considerations
for the projects, ensuring that their capital and operational costs are balanced and in support of
the overall objectives.
• Continuously performing value engineering, seeking the best potential technical solutions to the
various projects.
• Management of teams as well as the management of the client and the client expectations for
various projects.
• Coordinate various detailed engineering studies at the FEL 1-4 category including the
development of both capital and operational cost models as well as detailed return on
investments.
• Supervise all engineering disciplines assigned to the project. This must include the
development of schedules of the teams to ensure that the project parameters (including
implementation and contractual compliances) are maintained.
• Resolve the most cost effective solutions for changes to the project plans as required.
