Job Description

NOC 10019- Operation Chief

 

Hotopia Downtown is devoted to showing delicious Chinese food and making more people fall in love with them. Among them, Hunan Cuisine, Sichuan Cuisine and Guangdong Cuisine are our main cuisines. Moreover, our restaurant is time-honored in Canada and invites some traditional Chinese-style performance for our customers sometimes.

 

Education Background: College diploma or above

Language: English

Salary: $46.15 per hour, work 37.5 hours per week and 52 weeks per year

Annual Income: $89,992.5

 

Job Descriptions:

  1. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of a department;
  2. Formulate financial, catering and marketing policies and strategies.
  3. Manage the personnel and affairs of the operation department;
  4. Direct and advise staff engaged in providing records management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources or other administrative services;
  5. Familiar with the social media operation, enable to analyze the data of social media, and set the goals and plans of operations for the restaurant at social media such as Tik Tok, FB and others;
  6. Direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures within the establishment;
  7. Work with other department managers to do operations such as publicity and promotions;
  8. Plan, administer and control budgets for contracts, equipment and supplies;
  9. Prepare reports and briefs for management committees evaluating performances;
  10. Recruit and interview new staff, and provide guidance and/or training for staff of the department with completing onboard-related duties;
  11. Timely analysis of Food & Beverage Price in relation to competition.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Five (5) years proven work experience in a Food & Beverage management or related industry;
  • Prefer to those who have experience in operation management;
  • A high degree of flexibility coupled with an ability to deal with high pressure in a fast-paced working environment;
  • Responsible and detailed oriented with strong organizational and coordination skills preferred;
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently;
  • Up to date with food and beverage trends and best practices;
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
