Job Title: Greenhouse Supervisor (NOC:82031)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend

Wage Rate: $28.85/hour, 40-60 hours per week.

Vacancies: 01

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Work Location: Mission, BC

Education: High School

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Language: Basic English

Benefits: Accommodation will be provided @ $30/week, relocation expenses & medical insurance for first 3 months covered by employer, if required.

Job Duties:

• Co-ordinate and supervise activities of greenhouse workers
• Develop work schedules and establish procedures
• Requisition supplies and materials
• Ensure safety of workers
• Maintain quality control and production records
• Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
• Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports
• Maintain work records and logs
• Hire staff and train workers in job duties
• Operate and maintain machinery and equipment
• May perform the same duties as workers supervised.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, Standing for extended periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling.
