Position: Excavations Superintendent

Number of Positions: 1

Term of Employment: Full-time; Permanent

Wage: $35.10 per hour 

Work Location: Various Locations in Vancouver, BC and other areas of Lower Mainland and Greater Vancouver regions as per company’s contracts with its customers.

Position Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the crew performing excavating, paving, digging, drainage, and demolishing activities.
• Schedule the activities of other workers at job sites and establish procedures.
• Requisition of materials and supplies
• Solve work-related problems and propose measures to enhance productivity
• Train or arrange for training of newly hired workers
• Ensure health and safety regulations are being followed by all the workers

Position Requirements

• Completion of Secondary School
• Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in the similar trade is required
• Functional English is required
