We at Pizza 82 & Curry House have been serving the areas in Lower Mainland BC with our most delicious pizza and authentic Indian meals. The restaurant offers a flavorful and high-quality menu to our food lovers according to their taste preferences. We serve clean and quality ingredient foods in all types of meals. The restaurant is looking for a full-time Cooks to help us better serve our customers without compromising on quality and services. At this position, you will be responsible to prepare a variety of pizzas quickly and consistently in line with our company standards.

Key Job duties

• Prepare and cook pizzas based on customer orders (e.g., veg, and non-veg pizzas, etc.).
• Prepare ingredients and pizza sauces and ensure quality of food as per the company’s standards.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Order supplies and equipment.
• Work with specialized cooking equipment such as a grill, oven etc.
• Add the toppings and slice pizza according to the customer request.
• Ensure consistent high quality of food preparation and service,
• Estimate food requirements and costs and monitor and order supplies.
• Monitor and maintain clean working and cooking area.
• Hire and train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling food.
• Perform other duties as requested by the management.

You must have

• Completion of Secondary School.
• Completion of college program in cooking/food safety or Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience
• Functional English.
• Knowledge in health and safety within the kitchen.
• Excellent team spirit with a customer-focused attitude.
• Able to work well independently and within a team.
