Job description:
1. Assisting client with activities of daily living including lift and transfer.
2. Observe clients and their environment, documenting daily and reporting unsafe condition, behavioural, physical and.or cognitive changes to case manager.
3. Maintenance of daily activity record providing basic information regarding clients activities of daily living, housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, outings etc.
4. perform light housekeeping duties, meal preparation.
5. Palliative care
6. Provide home support and companionship
7. perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
1. strong time management skills
2. Must be a graduate from a recognized health care aide program in alberta.
3. Must have a current CPR, medication administration course, and food handling course.
4. must be able to follow written and verbal instruction in english.
5. must be able to read and communicate effectively.
6. Good leadership and critical thinking is an asset.
JOB TYPE: FULL TIME
