Currently we are looking for energetic, positive and caring Early Childhood Assistant to work with our wonderful students.
Early Childhood Assistants will work under the direction of the Registered Early Childhood Educator to assist in planning and developing age-appropriate programs, to support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
Main job duties: Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching, preparing crafts, art, dramatic play, music and physical activity. Maintain daycare equipment and assist in housekeeping and cooking duties, observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems, prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor, discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings, assess the abilities, interests and needs of children, establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers, plan and maintain health, security and well-being of children.
Employment Requirement: high school diploma, 1-2 years of experience working with pre-school Current successful Police Vulnerable Sector Check
Valid Standard First Aid training and Level “C” CPR
Language: fluent English, Farsi in asset.
