Job Description

Terms of Employment:  Permanent Position / Fill-Time / Shift

Vacancy: 1

Wage: $26 - $30 (Depends on Experience)

Benefit: 4% Vacation Pay, Tip

Language of Work: English

Job duties:

• Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory
• Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
• Create new recipes
• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
• Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff
• Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
• Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
• Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food

Job Requirement:

• Cook's trade certification (or equivalent credentials or training)
• Minimum 2 Years of commercial cooking experience
