Job Description

Max’s Bakery & Deli is one of famous bakery located at 3105 Oak Street, Vancouver, British Columbia. Bakery is providing the highest quality food. We are currently hiring for Two Full-time Bakers (NOC: 6332) who could join our bakery.

We are offering $16.00 per hour with full-time work of 40 hrs. per week + 4% of Vacation pay or 10 days of paid leave per year.

Requirements:

You must have completed your High School education.

Must have completed 3-4 year of apprenticeship program in related or should have more than 3 years of experience in related field is required.

Knowledge of English Language.

Duties:

• Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
• Bake mixed dough and batters
• Prepare special orders
• Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
• Draw up production schedules
• Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas
• Operate machinery

Other requires:

Must be able work overtime.

Must be perform duties repeatedly.

Must be able to stand for longer period and lift heavy bakery items.

Candidate should be willing to work on all shifts (Evening & weekend).
