Job Description

1165045 BC Ltd. is a construction company located in Surrey, BC and is currently hiring 3 full-time Construction Cleaners to join our team. We are seeking hardworking and motivated individuals who can complement our growing team.

Position Details

Position: Construction Cleaner

Salary: $26.50 per hour

Job Type: Full time; Permanent

Number of Positions: 3

Expected start date: As soon as possible.

Transportation: Transportation between work sites/locations will be provided by the company and travel time will be paid.

Work location(s): Various Locations in Greater Vancouver, Lower Mainland (BC).

Job Responsibilities 

• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs.
• Remove scraps, dirt, debris, and other refuse using industrial vacuum cleaners.
• Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance such as painting, plumbing, and drywall as directed by the foreman. 
• Clear construction sites of snow and ice.
• Maintain all cleaning equipment/materials in a safe and sanitary working condition.
• Perform other construction cleaning duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Completion of high school would be an asset but not mandatory.
• Some work experience in same/similar work would be an asset but not mandatory.
• Functional English is required.
• Willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
• Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend.
