Position Description

Position: Drywall Installer Helper

Type of employment: Full-time, Permanent

No of positions: 2

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible

Work Location: Various locations in Surrey BC and other areas of Lower Mainland (BC).

Salary and Benefits

Salary: $26.50 per hour

Overtime and Vacation Pay

Job Responsibilities: 

• Load and unload drywall sheets and move them to work areas.
• Clean and prepare surfaces.
• Move the filling material from one place to another as per Drywall Installer’s instructions.
• Sand the areas after filling.
• Take care of equipment.
• Work with skilled Drywall Installers and assist them in moving equipment and in other activities.

Job Requirements

• Some work experience as a construction labourer would be an asset but not mandatory.
• Functional English.
• Ability to walk stands, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks.
