Liquid Rock Concrete Construction & Design Ltd. based in Vancouver; BC is focused on delivering a superior level of quality workmanship to its clients. We are currently looking for 2 Painters to be a part of our team as soon as possible.

Job Type: Full time; Permanent

Number of Positions: 2

Salary: $26.50 per hour

Expected start date: As soon as possible

Work locations: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Vancouver BC, and other areas of Lower Mainland (BC) as per company’s contracts with its clients.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding.

Job Duties:

• Read instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of paint work and material necessary.
• Prepare and clean surfaces by scraping, sanding, remove old wallpaper and loose paint; repair cracks and holes in walls; and sandpaper and apply sealer.
• Mix paint to desired color and texture.
• Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders as necessary in a manner consistent with safety codes.
• Advise customers on colors schemes and choice of wall coverings if required.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of high School
• Completion of apprenticeship program or Minimum 3 years of work experience in the trade
• Functional English is required
