Job Description

URGENT HIRING

Employer: HUMBLE INSULATION LTD.

LOCATED AT 142 STREET Surrey BC V3X 1B8.

Position: Insulator

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Vacancy: 2

Wage Rate and hours: $28.00 per hour, 35-40 hours per week

Start date: as soon as possible

Job Location: various locations across Lower Mainland area as per job projects.

Language: English

Education: not required

Experience: 1-2 years of experience as an Insulator is required

Job duties:

• Select type of insulation as required 
• Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
• Apply and secure insulation using spraying blowing, pasting, strapping, taping and other application and installation methods 
• Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs 
• Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials 
• Brush waterproofing cement or other material over insulating material
• Remove asbestos, ceramic fibres, lead and mould and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings
• Follow safety guidelines

Work conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Major Work Area:  residential, commercial and renovation construction projects
