Job Description

It’s Lee & Ann Restaurant in Prince Rupert, B.C.. We are a family-run restaurant specializing in authentic Vietnamese cuisine.  We are hiring a full-time Permanent Kitchen Helper.

We offer: C$17.00/hr (30-40hrs/wk) with 4% paid vacation. Plus gratuity.

Work Location: 636 3rd Ave W, Prince Rupert, BC V8J 1M2

Job Requirement:

• Training is provided.
• Some work experience related to restaurants is an asset.
• Ability to work well in a stressful and fast-paced environment.
• Training is provided.

Job Duties:

• Prepare food ingredients such as vegetables and fruit by washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing.
• Portion, assemble, and package take-out orders.
• Sanitize worktables, and kitchen appliances to maintain the required standards.
• Take out trash and clean kitchen garbage containers.
• Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
• Sweep and mop the kitchen floors before and after work.
• Perform duties as requested to assist the cook and kitchen staff.
