JOB DESCRIPTION

Work Location: 1355 Fisher Road, Cobble Hill, BC V0R 1L2

Job Title: Sorter – Recyclable Materials 

Terms of Employment: 40 hours per week, full-time, permanent

Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Wage: $20.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

No of Positions: 4

Job Duties:

• Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment;
• Check and weigh materials and products – including moisture levels in compost piles;
• Moving, loading, sorting, packing, unloading, crate and package materials and products;
• Clean work areas and equipment at various composting sites;
• General Maintenance around various sites;
• Assist other workers with their duties;
• Perform other labouring and elemental activities.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Education: Some secondary education may be required.

Experience: No Experience Necessary. We will train.

Language: English
