Position name: Project Administration Officer
Location of work: 1308 Adanac Street, Vancouver BC V5L 2C3 and potentially other locations in the lower mainland
Nature of position: Permanent, full-time (30 hours per week)
Wage: $27.50/hour
Vacation: 14 days
Language required: English, spoken and written

JOB DUTIES. The following duties will be performed in this position:
- Report to the Project Manager and co-ordinate office/site administrative procedures and process.
- Coordinate with departments, maintain track of all project schedules and ensure compliance to all company safety requirements during construction and commissioning.
- Establish work priorities, ensure deadlines are met and procedures are correctly administered.
- Ensure policies and procedures follow company and government policies.
- Gather and record site condition, progress, activities, maintain progress plan/ logs and prepare daily report.
- Partake in construction progress meetings, document all construction activities, and evaluate progress of project and ad hoc requests for review by Project Manager.
- Coordinate site logistic, parking, cleanliness, and coordinate waste disposal process.
- Assist the Project Manager in preparation of operating budgets, maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
- Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, and manuals.
- Co-ordinate equipment, rental, supplies, delivery and maintain the log by adhering to company management guidelines.
- Performing adequate risk management- which includes, identifying potential issues and alerting the Project Manager to those issues to minimize potential negative impacts.
REQUIREMENTS. The successful applicant will possess, at a minimum, the following skills and experience:
- Completion of secondary school.
- 2+ years of work experience in the construction industry.
- 2+ years of work experience in a similar administrative role.
- Hands-on experience with technical documentation and schedules is preferred.
- Experience with administrative and clerical work proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Great attention to detail is crucial.
- Ability to effectively manage a portfolio of diverse projects and balance diverse interest, risks, and priorities.
- Strong organizational, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
