Location: Oakville, ON L6H 6X7

Salary: $41.15 per hour for 35 hours per week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment 

Job Responsibilities:

• Identifying potential clients and partners for business growth.
• Analyzing market trends and competition for strategic insights.
• Formulating growth strategies and business development plans.
• Delivering presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposiums and crafting and implementing business plans.
• Orchestrating initiatives to foster economic investments in rural and urban areas, catering to industrial and commercial needs.
• Converting leads into deals and negotiating contracts.
• Managing development projects and addressing inquiries from business community members regarding potential growth opportunities.
• Building and maintaining client relationships.
• Oversight of budgets and resources designated for business development activities.
• Conducting surveys and analyzing data to understand the purchasing behaviors and preferences of both wholesale and retail customers.
• Generating reports, research papers, educational materials, or articles and conducting analytical marketing research studies.
• Providing post-sale consultation to clients for ongoing support and preparing contracts and tenders when required.
• Evaluating customer service and store ambiance to shape marketing strategies.

Eligibility Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, or a related discipline is required. 
• Not less than 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in sales, marketing, or business development is required. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building client relationships and negotiating deals.
• The ability to analyze market trends and data is important for making informed business decisions.
• Demonstrated networking skills and the ability to identify and pursue business opportunities are often required.
• One must be goal-driven and can contribute to revenue growth.
