KUDDLES is looking for Early Childhood Educator Assistants

Employer: Kuddles Early Learning Centre (1237917 B.C. LTD.)

Position: Early Childhood Educator Assistant - ECEA (Permanent / Full-Time)

Position Available: 2

Working location: 407 Mountain Hwy, North Vancouver, BC V7J 2L1

Working hours: 35~40 hours per week

Wage: $20~$22 per hour (Depends on experience)

Benefit: 10 days paid vacation or 4% vacation pay / Extended medical benefits

Duties:

• Assist and support the Early Childhood Educator in planning and setting up play based and age-appropriate learning experiences that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
• Assist Early Childhood Educator for keeping their records for children’s developments, daily observations etc.
• Maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
• Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
• Attend to children’s physical needs for diapering, toileting, eating, and sleeping.
• Prepare and serve snacks, if required.
• Carry out a daily schedule that incorporates child-directed activity, care routines and transitions times.

Qualifications:

• Language: English
• ECEA License to Practice in BC is required.
• Completion of College/CEGEP or vocational is required.
• Current First Aid certificate and Criminal Record Check are needed.
• Experience is an asset.
