Bar Kat Insulation Ltd. is looking to hire insulators to work in Sechelt,  British Columbia, and the surrounding area on the client's sites based at 5732 Trail Avenue, Sechelt, BC, V0N 3A0

 Job Description: 

  • Read and Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand insulation requirements based on various factors like temperature requirements, acoustic considerations, or electrical insulation needs.
  • Select the type of insulation required.
  • Using hand and power tools to measure and cut insulation materials to the required dimensions according to project specifications.
  • Applying insulation materials using various methods such as spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, or taping to ensure proper coverage and fit.
  • Cutting and shaping insulation to fit around obstacles such as pipes, ducts, electrical outlets, and structural components, maintaining insulation continuity.
  • Placing vapor barriers as needed to prevent moisture infiltration and maintain the integrity of the insulation system.
  • Brush waterproofing cement or other material over insulating materials
