Job Description

J & J Framing Ltd. a construction company with a business based at #122 - 32083 Hillcrest Ave Abbotsford, British Columbia-V2T 1S3 Canada is looking for Two (02) full-time Framing Carpenters to join their company.

Salary: $30.00/Hourly for 40 hours/week

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Job Location(s)-Various location in and around Lower Mainland with business address based on #122 - 32083 Hillcrest Ave Abbotsford, British Columbia-V2T 1S3 Canada

Requirements: 

Completion of High School education is required.

Completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program or more than 3 years of experience in related field is required.

Language:  English

Duties:

• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moldings and hardware
• Measure, cut and shape the wooden materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawing to determine specifications
• Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structures.
• Prepare the layouts and designs as per customer requirements.
• Prepare the cost estimates for customers.
• Supervise the activities of other workers at work site.
• Operate power and manual tools.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations.

Other Work Conditions:

• Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding. Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching & kneeling.
