Job Description

Mount Pleasant Montessori Inc. O/A Mount Pleasant Montessori located at 15 Ashby Field Rd, Brampton, ON L6X 3B7 requires 2 Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) on a Permanent full-time basis. Wage: $ 20 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours or above per week. Additionally, 4 % vacation pay will be paid out per year.

Must Have:

·         Completed 2 years ECE Program.

·         In good standing with the College of ECE.

·         2 years to less than 3 years’ experience as Early Childhood Educator.

Job Duties:

• Daily Reporting and Record Keeping – Attendance, Allergy, Medication, Communication Logs.
• Support children with emotional, physical, or behavioral problems and help develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.
• Provide support for children in the classroom and enable them to fully participate in activities. Maintain up-to-date emergency cards, attendance, and health and safety checks.
• Work with professionals such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as necessary.
• Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms, program reporting.
• Manage and maintain an orderly classroom – follow cleaning schedules and room routines.
• Meet all classroom ratios as outlined in CCEYA.
• Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops.
