Job Description

NOC: 62020 (Food Service Supervisor)

Terms of Employment: Permanent Position (Full time)

Location of Work: 156, Main Street, Inglis, Manitoba R0J 0X0

Wage: $15.30- 17.30 per hour

Language Requirements: English

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage entire staff and cooks, including, training, scheduling, and performance reviews
• Ensure all staff are properly trained and are following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Ensure that each Guest receives outstanding Guest Service by providing a Guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every Guest, maintaining outstanding standards and solid product knowledge, and providing prompt service
• Ensure all operations run smoothly and efficiently
• Monitor and maintain adequate kitchen appliances
• Ensure that recipes and food preparation instructions are followed correctly
• Monitors daily use of food, labour and supplies, food quality and presentation
• Ensure that all equipment is in good working order
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Assist in menu planning and development
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess pleasant personality and polite nature
• 1-2 years of Restaurant or cafe management experience
• Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability of solving problems, making decisions and writing & speaking effectively
