Job Description

Job summary:

Zak Construction (14379021 Canada Inc.) is a construction company based in Ontario. We complete construction projects for residential and industrial buildings. We are looking for construction helpers with ability to perform relevant duties.

 Key Responsibilities

•  Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Mix, pour and spread materials
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
• Assist in demolishing buildings
• Perform routine maintenance work
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

Qualifications

• No degree, certificate or diploma
• Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
• Ability to work in a team environment with a minimum of supervision.
• Job requires ability to work with tools and materials.
• Use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required (e.g. hard-hat, safety boots, etc.).
• Hazards associated with the construction / renovation industry.

Will be required to wear protective equipment in designated areas (hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection and steel-toed safety shoes)

 Permanent Full-time

Salary:

 $29.00 per hour

 Schedule:

 Day shift Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

 Location:
