Job Description

Lotus Restaurant is a local Richmond restaurant serving up specialty and authentic Vietnamese cuisine. We offer a variety of Vietnamese dishes including Pho, vermicelli bowls & rice plates.

To assist our growing business, we are looking for a full-time and permanent Kitchen Helper 

We offer: C$17.00/hr (30-40hrs/wk) with 4% paid vacation. Plus gratuity.

Work location: 4131 No 5 Rd, Richmond, BC Canada V6X 2T9

Language of work:  English

Employment requirements:

• Some work experience related to restaurants is an asset.
• Ability to work well in a stressful and fast-paced environment.
• Training is provided. 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare food ingredients such as vegetables and fruit by washing, peeling, cutting, and slicing.
• Put together take-out orders and pack them up.
• Keep things clean by sanitizing tables and kitchen tools and appliances.
• Take out trash and clean kitchen garbage containers.
• Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
• Sweep and mop the kitchen floors before, during and after work.
• Perform duties as requested to assist the cook and kitchen staff.
