Position Description 

Position: Drywall Installer Helper

Type of employment: Full-time, Permanent

No of positions: 4

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible

Work Location: Various locations in Calgary region, AB.

Salary and Benefits 

Salary: $28.00 per hour

Overtime and Vacation Pay

Stable & full-time employment

Referral Bonus: $1000.00 CAD (for current employees).

Relocation Assistance: $1500.00 CAD (for qualified candidates coming from different cities, provinces, or regions).

Job Responsibilities 

• Load and unload drywall sheets and other material and move them to work areas.
• Clean and organize the workspace before and after work.
• Assist in erecting and dismantling scaffolding as required for drywall installation.
• Move the filling material from one place to another as per Drywall Installer’s instructions.
• Sand the areas after filling.
• Operate basic hand tools as directed.
• Take care of equipment.
• Work with Drywall Installers and assist them in their work.
• Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines.
• Perform other tasks related to drywall installation.

Job Requirements 

• Some work experience as a construction labourer would be an asset but not mandatory.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to walk stands, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks.
• Willingness to learn and work as a team.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy materials.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and reliability.
