Position: Cook
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent (We can consider Part-time as well as Full-time applicants.)
Work location: 2611 E 49th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5S 1J9
Wage & Benefit: $17.62/hr~$18.00/hr depending on experience, with 4% paid vacation
Working Hours: 30-36 hrs/wk
Overtime: Overtime rate provided after 8 hrs/day, and 40 hrs/wk
Education: Completion of Secondary School
Experience: At least 1-2 years of work experience or completion of equivalent in accredited training program for food

Job duties:
- Prepare and cook dishes using recipes
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Prepare and trim necessary ingredients for our menu
- Ensure food is prepared on time for all service periods by meeting food safety and quality standards
- Participate of menus plan, determine the size of food portions
- Ensure all operations follow safety and health guidelines in accordance with Government public health & sanitation regulations
- Clean work area and kitchen, and maintain workstation clean
- Reduce waste to ensure food costs are minimized
- Train and supervise the kitchen staff in order to ensure productivity and provide assistance when needed
