Job description

Job title:  Restaurant manager (NOC 60030)

Wage: $21.00/hour

Work hours: Monday-Friday, 35 hours/week

Address: 1425 Topsail Rd, Paradise, NL A1L 1H6

Nature: Full-time permanent. 

Language: English

Vacation: 2 weeks of paid vacation per annum or remuneration of 4% of basic salary

Job duties

1. Manage and in-charge of the restaurant’s daily operation.  

2. Directing the services and work routines to create a good catering experience. 

3. Train new employees to adapt to our work environment.

4. Assign shifts to the staff and evaluate their performance.

5. Settle customers’ complaints.

6. Comply with legal requirements of the restaurant.

7. Communicate with suppliers.

8. Talk with customers to access their expectations

Job requirements

1. Completion of secondary school is a must.

2. At least a year of working experience as a restaurant manager or similar role is a must.

3. Good communication with leading skills. 

4. Good organizational skills and good management skills

5. Being good in a second language will be preferred.
