AAG ConstructionLtd. located in Surrey, BC is currently looking for a professional, detail oriented and experienced Framer Carpenter to join our team.

Type of employment: Full-Time, Permanent

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible

Salary: $30.00 per hour

Work Location: Various Locations in Lower Mainland (BC)

Job Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, perform calculations, and prepare layouts.
• Precisely measure, cut, shape, and assemble the framing lumber needed to build residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.
• Finish surface of woodwork in houses and buildings, using hand tools and paneling.
• Work on new projects, remodels, or additions to existing wooden structures.
• Build foundations, install floor beams and subflooring, build walls and install partitions.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
• Supervise other construction workers.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of apprenticeship program in relevant trade OR minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in the trade
• Ability to communicate in English
