Food and beverage server

Grizz Hotel is located close to cultural highlights such as Revelstoke Railway Museum and Revelstoke Museum and Archives. If museums aren’t your thing, we are also close to the Revelstoke Mountain resort where you can enjoy a variety of Winter activities. We’re seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team as a food and beverage server.

Working Hours:                    40 hours working / week

Vacation Pay:                        4% of gross salary

Job Duties:

• Carrying trays of food and drinks to assigned tables and ensuring prompt and efficient service.
• Clearing tables of used dishes, utensils, and glassware promptly, and ensuring that dining areas are clean and presentable at all times.
• Processing customer payments, including cash, credit cards, or electronic transactions, and providing accurate change if applicable.
• Communicating customer preferences, special requests, and any food allergies or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff to ensure accurate preparation of orders.
• Keeping beverage stations stocked with clean glasses, ice, and garnishes, and ensuring that coffee, tea, and other beverages are readily available to customers.

 Requirements:

• On-the-job training is provided.
• FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate is required.
