Wage Rate: $ 28.85 per hour, for 40 hours per week. Overtime wage of $43.28 after 8 Hours per day and 40 Hours per week.

Job Requirements:
• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: Will Train
Job Duties:
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Drive lighter, special purpose trucks
• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Security and Safety: Driver's validity licence check; Driving record check (abstract), Medical exam; Drug test; Criminal record check; Valid passport
Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel cross-border; Willing to travel for extended periods; Willing to travel overnight; Valid driver's licence
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding; Sitting; Overtime required
