Location: Toronto, ON M5L 1E2

Salary: $32.10 hourly / 35 hours per week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment 

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth needs assessments to identify each client's unique financial goals and risk tolerance.
• Recommend appropriate financial products and services, such as loans, investments, and insurance, based on each client's individual circumstances.
• Clearly explain the features, benefits, and risks associated with each recommended product or service in a professional and compliant manner.
• Process and manage all necessary paperwork associated with client accounts and transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and regulations.
• Maintain and develop positive relationships with existing clients, exceeding their expectations by providing exceptional customer service.
• Actively prospect for new clients, utilizing various strategies to expand the company's client base.
• Achieve and exceed established sales targets for all assigned financial products and services.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, financial products, and regulatory changes through ongoing training and professional development.

Eligibility Requirements:

• A College diploma/CEGEP; typically, in finance, economics, accounting, or related field.
• Previous experience of 2 to 3 years in finance sector or related sector
• Effective organization and time management skills are crucial for managing multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant tools.
• Proven experience working as a financial services representative.
• Sound knowledge of financial legislation.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
