Job Description
Job Title: Greenhouse Supervisor
Company: Agricell Biotech Inc.
Location: Abbotsford, BC
Wage: $29/hr
Job Type: Full-time (minimum 30 hours/week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing all aspects of greenhouse operations, including crop cultivation, maintenance, and resource management
- Leading and supervising a dedicated team of greenhouse personnel, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance
- Implementing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain high standards of crop quality and productivity
- Monitoring and controlling environmental factors to optimize growing conditions and minimize environmental impact
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and customer demands, while fostering positive relationships with customers
- Analyzing data and generating reports to track greenhouse performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization
Educational qualification:
- Completion of Secondary school
- Completion of college program in a related field OR 1 to 2 years of work experience is required
