Position Details

Position: Siding Installer

Number of positions: 3

Terms of employment: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: $28.85 per hour

Work location(s): Abbotsford, BC, and Various other job sites in Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley (BC) areas as per the company’s contracts with its clients.

Job duties:

• Read blueprints or work order specifications.
• Determine layout, and installation procedures.
• Erect and install scaffolding, and other working platforms.
• Measure, and mark guidelines to be used for installations.
• Prepare underlying surfaces for installation and perform minor repairs if needed for better installation lifetime.
• Install siding as per specifications and schematics for buildings using hand and power tools.
• Cuts and trims material to shape when fitting siding around windows or corners, using the knife, shears, or portable power saw.

Job requirements:

• Completion of Secondary school would be considered an asset but not mandatory.
• Minimum 6 months of installation work experience in a similar field is required.
• Ability to communicate in English.
