Job Description
Read circuit diagrams, blueprints, and electrical codes to assess wiring structures for all the installations.
Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, wires, and fixtures, including switches and circuit breakers.
Connect wires and pull them through holes in surfaces and walls.
Install holders and hangers to hold up electrical appliances
Connecting power to electrical equipment, heating, and cooling devices, and signaling devices
Test electrical systems and components to ensure the proper functioning
Fix electrical issues and adjust and replace the damaged electrical components using appropriate testing devices
Connect wires to units and fixtures to create circuits.
Inspect circuit breakers and ensure continuous maintenance of electrical equipment to ensure safety.
Performing general electrical maintenance and keeping proper maintenance records.
Providing service to different electrical equipments such as heaters, air conditioners, audio and video systems etc.
Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required.
Post-secondary education and/or a minimum one year of experience in the field is required
