2 Maintenance Carpenter required as soon as possible.

Salary: 35.00 hourly / 30 to 35 hours per Week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work setting: Construction, Various locations, Renovation, Commercial, Residential

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moulding and hardware
