Job Description

Mr. Woodpecker Paintings located in Surrey, B.C. is hiring for a permanent full-time Construction Painters Supervisor to assist with our growing business.

We offer: C$37.50/hour (30-40hrs/week) with 4% paid vacation. Overtime will be calculated after 40hrs.

Work location: Various Locations throughout Lower Mainland, BC.

Language of work:  English

Number of positions: 1

Job requirement:

• Completion of secondary school.
• A minimum of one year of related work experience.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and schedule construction painters on residential and commercial projects.
• Coordinate painting work with contractors and other trades.
• Ensure work quality, safety, and project timelines are met.
• Order painting materials, tools, and supplies.
• Train painters and helpers in job duties and safety procedures.
• Resolve on-site work issues and improve productivity.
• Prepare basic work progress reports.
• May recommend hiring and promotion decisions.
• May supervise apprentices and labourers.
• May assist in managing daily operations of the company.
