JOB REQUIREMENT 

Education: Completion of secondary (high) school.

A diploma or certificate in hospitality or a related field is an asset but not mandatory. Equivalent work experience will be considered.

Certifications: FoodSafe and Serving It Right certifications are assets.

Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the food service industry, including management or supervisory experience.

Language: English is required for effective communication with staff and  customers including giving instructions, handling customer inquiries and complaints, understanding workplace policies, and ensuring health and safety compliance.



JOB DUTIES

  • Manage day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service, food quality, and a positive customer experience for dine-in and take-out orders.

  • Lead, supervise, and support kitchen and front-of-house staff, including hiring, training, and ongoing performance management.

  • Prepare weekly staff schedules, monitor attendance and productivity, and adjust staffing levels based on business needs.

  • Oversee inventory control by tracking stock levels, placing orders, and coordinating with suppliers to maintain adequate food and supply availability.

  • Monitor sales, expenses, and overall performance, and implement operational adjustments to improve efficiency and profitability.

  • Address customer feedback and resolve complaints promptly while maintaining service and brand standards.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety regulations, and company policies at all times.

  • Implement and maintain operational procedures, opening and closing routines, and internal controls to support consistent restaurant operations.
