Job Description

Beyond the Garden Landscaping Inc. is seeking reliable and hardworking Landscape Labourers to assist with landscape construction and maintenance at residential and commercial sites. This position involves physical outdoor work and the operation of landscaping tools and equipment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape construction and installation

• Cart, spread, and level topsoil and other materials

• Lay sod or seed lawns

• Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees

• Cut grass, rake, weed, prune, and trim trees and plants

• Apply fertilizers and mulch

• Water and tend to lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas

• Remove litter, debris, and refuse from work sites

• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers)

• Repair and perform basic maintenance on equipment

• Follow health, safety, and environmental standards at all times

Employment Requirements

• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required

• Experience: Will train

• Language: English

• Work conditions:

  • Outdoors, physically demanding

  • Repetitive tasks

  • Bending, crouching, kneeling

  • Combination of standing, walking, and lifting

Schedule

• Day and morning shifts

• Monday to Friday
